About Srishti 2015

Srishti 2015 :- a National Level Technical Project Exhibition and Competition for engineering students was organised by SAINTGITS College of Engineering on 13th & 14th Feb 2015. It was the second edition of srishti after the remarkable feedback from the participants of srishti 2014 which was the first of its kind in Kerala.

The Srishti 2015 was associated with Kerala Financial Corporation, Startup Village, Technopark TBI (TTBI), Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) along with SAINTGITS Industrial Research Centre and SAINTGITS Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship



Sri Kochouseph Chittilipilly , Chairman –V-Guard Group of Industries inaugurated Srishti 2015, Mr. Thomas T John, Director, SAINTGITS Group of Institutions presided over the function  and  Er. K. George Kottukulam delivered the Keynote Address on 13th  Feb 2015

Technical Talks:


Srishti 2015  also bridged the gap between academia, industry and the common man through an interactive exchange of technical knowledge and information. To accomplish this objective, the public and the school children throughout Kerala witnessed themselves with the project exhibits and the latest technological advancements in the industry. Technical talks and Interactive sessions were delivered to enlighten the budding engineers in the field of Innovation and Healthcare Technologies  by Mr.Sameer Abdul Azeez ,Scientist at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Kochi and Mr. Anbuselvan T,Service Manager,Wipro GE Healthcare Pvt Ltd, Chennai respectively.

Technical Project Exhibition & Competition:

There was an overwhelming response from more than 81 eminent Engineering Colleges throughout India with 394 registrations for competition. 102 projects were selected for six segments of engineering viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Computer Science & MCA and the focus segment of the year ‘Healthcare’. The Total prize money was Rs. 2,00,000/-.

Projects Evaluation



A panel of judges chaired by Mr.Sameer Abdul Azeez,Scientist at the Naval Physical and Oceanographic Laboratory (NPOL), Kochi visited the exhibition stalls and evaluated the projects in two phases to select The Best Innovation award worth Rs  One Lakh and Best projects from six technical streams worth  Rs 12000/- each and the best agricultural project worth Rs 10000/-.  The visitors were given the privilege to elect the most popular award.
